Life in Halls
About GSA Halls
The Glasgow School of Art offers a range of accommodation options for both the Glasgow and Highlands and Islands campus, designed to provide students with a comfortable and secure living environment that complements their academic experience.
GSA managed Glasgow accommodations are located within walking distance of the main campus and are set up to foster a strong sense of community among students. Each residence prioritises a safe and supportive atmosphere, with facilities and regular events such as craft days, exhibition outings, seasonal celebrations, and more.
In our accommodations, students benefit from a uniquely creative environment, sharing flats exclusively with other GSA students. The GSA Accommodation Team are also on site should any issues occur, with campus security available outside office hours for emergencies. For many, GSA accommodations serve as an excellent stepping stone to the private sector, providing a supportive start to living in Glasgow.

Summer Accommodation
Blythswood House opens as a summer hostel for GSA students, summer school students, interns, universities and groups visiting Glasgow for events between the months of June-August. We do not offer short-term stays for individuals or small groups.
